Dahua HAC-HFW1209CLP-LED — Full-Color Bullet. Super Adapt. Lite Series. No Audio.
The Dahua HAC-HFW1209CLP-LED is the standard (non-audio) version of Dahua’s full-color Lite Series bullet camera with Super Adapt technology. It delivers 24/7 full-color imaging from its warm white LED illuminator alongside real-time adaptive exposure control — giving it a performance edge over the basic HFW1209CP-LED model while remaining a straightforward, cost-effective solution for outdoor surveillance where audio is not required.
🌈 Full-Color 24/7 Imaging — Color in Complete Darkness
Unlike standard IR cameras that switch to grainy black-and-white at night, this full-color camera uses warm white LED illuminators to flood the scene with visible light — capturing vivid, color-accurate footage even in total darkness. Color detail matters for security: identifying clothing colors, vehicle colors, and facial features is significantly easier from color footage than monochrome IR images.
🌿 CLP vs CP — What’s the Difference?
The CLP model (this camera) includes Super Adapt and is from the Lite Series with enhanced image processing. The CP model is a slightly more basic implementation. In practice, the CLP handles lighting transitions more smoothly, has marginally better low-light color performance, and benefits from the Lite Series’ quality standards. For most users the difference is subtle — but for critical monitoring areas, the CLP’s Super Adapt is worth having.
🌿 Super Adapt — Consistent Exposure Across the Day
Super Adapt automatically and continuously adjusts exposure as lighting changes throughout the day — sunrise, noon glare, sunset transition, streetlight activation, headlight sweeps. The camera avoids the common problem of overexposed frames during bright headlight/sunlight events and underexposed frames during rapid transitions to darkness.
📡 HDCVI Technology — Long-Distance Transmission Without Quality Loss
Dahua’s proprietary High Definition Composite Video Interface (HDCVI) transmits full-HD video, audio, data, and power over a single coaxial cable — up to 700 meters for HD video and 300 meters via UTP cable. Unlike IP cameras that require Cat5/6 cabling and network infrastructure, HDCVI cameras work directly with existing coaxial cable runs — making them the ideal upgrade path for existing analog systems or new installations where network infrastructure is unavailable.
🔌 Multi-Format Compatibility — CVI / CVBS / AHD / TVI
The camera supports four video output formats — HDCVI, CVBS (analog), AHD, and TVI — switchable via the OSD menu or a UTC controller. This makes it compatible with virtually every DVR and XVR system in the market: Dahua, Hikvision, and third-party recorders. No proprietary lock-in. No compatibility guesswork.
🛡️ IP67 Weather Protection — Built for Bangladesh’s Climate
IP67 rated — fully dustproof and waterproof up to 1 metre submersion for 30 minutes. Survives monsoon rains, humidity, construction dust, and extreme heat without degradation. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +60°C. Built to run continuously in outdoor installations year-round.
⚡ Advanced Signal Quality
Signal-to-noise ratio greater than 65dB — ensuring clean, clear video with minimal interference even over long cable runs. 2D/3D Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) reduces image grain in low-light without sacrificing detail or sharpness. BLC (Back Light Compensation) and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) ensure balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes.
