🌈 ColorVu Technology — 24/7 Full-Color Imaging

Hikvision’s ColorVu technology uses a combination of an F1.0 ultra-large aperture lens and high-sensitivity CMOS sensor to capture colour-rich images in near-darkness without switching to monochrome IR mode. The F1.0 aperture — previously found only in professional photography lenses — gathers dramatically more light than standard F2.0 surveillance lenses. The result is vivid, accurate colour footage even in environments with only 0.001 Lux of ambient light. ColorVu cameras maintain colour all night without LED illumination in many real-world conditions, and use white LEDs only when ambient light is truly insufficient.
